Sara Prengaman graduated from West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV with a Bachelor in Music Education, and is currently completing her Mechanical Engineering degree through the University of Alabama. While at WVU, she participated in most music ensembles, including the Wind Symphony, Orchestra, Bluegrass, Fife and Drum, African Drum and Dance, Taiko, and Steel Drum Ensembles. Sara has studied privately with Eric Shuster and John Heinz, and while at WVU she studied percussion with George Willis. She has been teaching percussion privately since 2012 in Maryland and West Virginia. Sara has also helped organize and teach the WVU Percussion Camp for 3 years and was a returning judge for the Elmer Rich Memorial Fiddle Contest. Sara teaches mathematics at Martinsburg High School in Berkeley County.
